Dr. Kavin Kumar Thangadorai is a recognized leader in long-range wireless mesh innovation, with over 19 years of R&D experience spanning Wi-Fi, embedded systems, and mobile platforms. Currently a Principal Researcher at the Technology Innovation Institute in Abu Dhabi, he leads pioneering work in multi-radio systems combining Wi-Fi 4/5/7, sub-GHz HaLow, LoRa, and SDR for resilient IoT and edge communication.

A former Wi-Fi Architect at Samsung R&D, Kavin holds a Ph.D. from IIT Madras and has authored 10 peer-reviewed papers and over 35 patents across wireless technologies. He is a Certified Wireless Analysis Professional (CWAP), Security Professional (CWSP & SWAP), and Network Administrator (CWNA), with deep expertise in mesh routing (802.11s, BATMAN), adaptive networking, and system-level optimization.
