Learn to use Linux like a pro in what has been called "one of the best Linux courses I've ever seen"!

Linux-based operating systems run most of the world's IT systems, including networking equipment. If you don't already use Linux, now is the time to learn it!

If you already use Linux but want to learn more, this is also the class for you!

The skills you will learn in this class apply to servers, workstations, cloud, containers, WLANPi/Raspberry Pi ecosystems, IoT devices, and more!

• Basic Scripting and Network Automation
• Text Editors
• Regular Expressions
• File Management and Manipulation
• Working with Data
• Wired and Wi-Fi Networking
• Host Firewalls
• Managing and Running Servers
• Users and Permissions
• and a bit of Linux history

Bryan has used Linux for over 20 years. He uses it every day to manage a large campus network, and has taught Linux classes for over 7 years.

Class Requirements:

• A laptop (Mac, PC, or Linux)
• The ability to install and run software on it. If your machine is locked down, you will at minimum need an SSH client of your choice
• Recommended: a tablet or second monitor for following along with the course material

Printouts will not be provided. You can print everything at home afterwards.
