Wi-Fi Advanced Technology; Wi-Fi 8, Wi-Fi Sensing and Real-World Impacts of Wi-Fi 7 | PRG 26

The focus will be on the key technologies leading to Wi-Fi 8 called as ultra high reliability WLAN. The focus areas in Wi-Fi 8 will be multi-AP coordination and its impacts on enterprise, seamless mobility, physical layer enhancements , and power save approaches both at the AP and at the STA.

The challenges in effectively utilizing these features to improve WLAN in a realistic scenario will be discussed. In addition, newer technologies coming to Wi-Fi world include sensing, locationing, and post quantum cryptography.

In addition to these, some real-life notes on how Wi-Fi 7 features are being adopted and performing will also be shared.
