Amin Sedighfar is a telecommunications engineer and Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE #622). He currently works as a Wireless Engineer at SemFio Networks Inc., where he has spent the past four years designing wireless networks for complex and challenging environments, providing wireless support for events, conducting active and passive site surveys for enterprise environments, and researching and writing technical white papers for the company and IEEE.

In addition to his engineering work, Amin has been a part-time faculty member at Humber Polytechnic College in Ontario, Canada, for the past three years. He teaches courses such as Wireless Data Networks, Networking and Telecommunications, Python Programming, Telecom Systems, and the lie.

Amin has extensive hands-on experience ranging from technician-level work to engineering design and implementation. In a previous full-time role, he was responsible for maintaining SCADA systems and worked with a broad range of networking technologies and protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, MPLS, VLANs, STP, IPsec, VPNs, HSRP, VRRP, GRE tunnels, and ACLs. He also has experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches and routers.

In the field of mobile technologies, Amin has studied and worked with cellular systems, including GSM, EDGE, UMTS, LTE, and 5G. He is familiar with LTE/EPS architecture and its key components, including eNB, MME, S-GW, and P-GW, and has gained practical experience through Open5GS project simulations.
